今回はRWBY 氷雪帝国のオープニングで歌われていたBeyond Selvesを載せてみます。
全部英語のジャズっぽさがちょっと入ったいかした歌です。

「戦闘シーンはカッコ良い」と言われてつい最近観はじめたばかりのアニメなのですが、歌もカッコ良いです。

現在途中までしか観ていないアニメなのでRWBY氷雪帝国を見た感想を書くにはまだ早い時期なのですが、とりあえず現状の印象としては「展開が早い」です。
内容的には「グリム」と呼ばれるモンスターに脅かされる世界で、グリムを討伐するハンターになるために奮闘する主人公たちを中心に描かれる異能力バトル系アニメです。

化物語などで有名なシャフトさんが制作に関わっているだけあって戦闘シーンの見応えは抜群なのですが、それ以外の人間関係や生活面の部分にあまり力を入れていない感を受ける、何というかキャラに感情移入はできない、視聴者おいてけぼりで戦われている感がちょっとある印象です。
戦闘シーンのカッコ良さだけで見れば上位に来るアニメだとは思うのですが、物語として見たい方はちょっとアテが外れるかもしれません。
・・・とは言っても、私もまだ６話までしか観ていないので今後意見が変わる可能性も大いにありますので、興味がある方は是非観てみてください。
