成人の日あたりになるとようやく年末年始のダラけ癖が治って本調子が出てきた感がします。今年も大きな病気などせずのんびりやっていきたいですね。
さてさて、本日は最近改めてハマりってイラスト集などを買いはじめた葬送のフリーレンからThe Braveを紹介させていただきます。

(芽吹く命たちが、旅路を共にする)
These budding lives are with me on this journey
葬送のフリーレンは、ゲームで言えば「魔王は無事討伐され世界は平和になり、勇者たちは穏やかに余生を過ごしました～」のその後を描いた物語です。
魔王を倒した4人の英雄のうちの1人であるフリーレンが「世界が平和になったことしちょっと旅してくるよ」程度のエルフのちょっと間隔で50年ほど旅に出て戻ってきてみれば、かつての仲間や人間の町は50年で大きく変化してしまっていました。
フリーレンはエルフと人との時間の重の差を悔いながら、かつての仲間の軌跡を追っていく・・・という感じの物語で、一応戦闘シーンもちょこちょこあったりするのですが、全体的には時間経過による変化や喪失感みたいなものを丁寧に描いた作品になっています。
雰囲気重視なアニメや漫画が好きな方には刺さりやすい内容なので、雰囲気系が好きな方は是非手に取ってみてほしい作品です。
ちなみに漫画の方も色使いが綺麗なので、できれば漫画版の方もチェックしてみてほしいな、と思います。おすすめです。
