猛暑続きの毎日ですが、我が家では最悪のタイミングでクーラーが温風しか吐き出さなくなるというハプニングに見舞われました。逃げることのできない夏をじっとりと感じています。

熱いので今回は熱いアニメの歌を翻訳してみます。天元突破グレンラガンの作中に流れていたLibera Me' from Hell。男性の英語ラップと女性のラテン語レクイエムが合わさった歌です。

オペラっぽい雰囲気もあって一回聴くとしばらく頭に残る独特な歌です。ちょっと長いですが歌詞と合わせて聴いてみてください。

ラテン語部分は頭に※印つけました。英語はまだ何度か聞けば分かりますがラテン語は未だに文字で見ないと何言ってるか聞き取れません。ムズいです。

グレンラガンは上の方でも書いた通り、熱いアニメです。地下で暮らしていた主人公たちが地上へと抜け出し、地上で敵と戦い、最終的には銀河を巻き込んだ宇宙の戦いになっていきます。しかもそれがたった30話弱の話数に収まっているので、中だるみする暇も無く熱い内容になっています。
